Space Bacon Kicks Off Tour in Vermont Over Valentines Weekend

Since announcing the biggest tour of their career thus far, Space Bacon and their crew have been gearing up to hit the road. They’re kicking things off tomorrow, Saturday, February 15th, at the Stone Church in Brattleboro, VT. Valentines weekend in Vermont with Space Bacon? A true recipe for romance. Their Vermont winter shows are always something to look forward to. The band and their core fan base have made it a yearly tradition, referring to it as Snow Bacon.

This is the first time that they’ll be playing this particular venue. It’s actually an old church with stained glass windows, set in small-town southern Vermont. Their sound engineer, Freddy Rylands, will get everything dialed in proper. And the acoustics will play to their advantage. The band will be hitting the slopes at Mt. Snow during the day before the show, and encourage their fans to do the same!

Coming off their massive sold out show at the Mercury Lounge in NYC, the band is ready to pick up right where they left off. They’ve been writing new songs and there’s a good chance they’ll bust one or two out. Fans can look forward to some monster segments combining new and old material, fueled by high octane type II improvisation, as always.

If you’re in the Northeast, specifically New England, you should definitely consider making the trek. Whether you’re in New York or Boston, it’s a pretty easy drive. There’s been a lot of excitement building around this show, and the tour as a whole. Next weekend, they’ll be in Chicago, playing an official after-party for Twiddle. Space Bacon is aiming to make every single show on this tour special and unique. Come out and see for yourself!
